The top surgery scars always ALWAYS baffles me in these games. On top of the 'how does medieval fantasy have modern surgery techniques" question, if someone wanted to be a woman/man and be referred to as a woman/man, why would they not just play a woman/man from the get go? Why would they need to say "my character used to be this other thing?" THAT is what I mean when I refer to wokeness. It is purposeful immersion breaking and destruction of coherent storytelling and worldbuilding by injecting modern real-world sociopolitical topics into the game. And often times it comes at the cost of the quality of the games for the reasons listed in the previous sentence as well as resource and budget allocation that could be better spent elsewhere.
